The Deeper You Dig

Within the aftermath of a roadside accident, the road between the dwelling and the lifeless collapses for a mom, a daughter and a stranger. A household affair, the film was written, directed and produced by John Adams, Toby Poser, and their daughter, Zelda. In addition they star, shoot and compose the music for the movie. A surprising portrait of resourcefulness, the household filmmaking group capitalizes on their life within the Catskill Mountains to create a novel icy tone. The skeletal forest invokes the environment of desires and because the movie delves into the realm of the avant-garde, its blue-toned cinematography attracts us into the ocean of the unconscious.
