Encomium into Larry Hart (1895-1943), found via the fictive eyes of his own song-writing spouse, Richard Rodgers (1902-1979): out of their very first meeting, during thin years and their achievement, for their successes Broadway, London, and Hollywood. We watch that the fruits of Hart and Rodgers’ cooperation – elaborately staged amounts out of their own plays, personalities’ visits to night clubs, and impromptu performances at celebrations. In addition, we see Larry’s dotted way of life, his unsuccessful love with Peggy McNeil, his insecurities, and Richard’s successful wooing of Dorothy Feiner.
