What Waits Below
The US military is conducting a test to get a particular sort of wireless transmitter, to be utilized to communicate with submarines, at a profound network of subterranean caves in Central America. After the sign from among those transmitters abruptly vanishes, a group of soldiers headed by Major Elbert Stevens (Bottoms) and cave experts headed by Rupert ‘Wolf’ Wolfsen (Powell) such as scientist Leslie Peterson (Blount) are sent directly to learn what occurred. Researching deep underground, they also encounter a tribe of albino cave-dwellers who’ve seemingly been isolated by the remainder of the planet for centuries. Even the cave-dwellers are hurt by radio frequencies and can view in infra-red frequencies, monitoring the explorers with their own body heat.
