Wet Hot American Summer
The setting is Camp Firewood, the season 1981. It’s the very last day before everyone goes back into real life, but there is still a summer’s worth of unfinished business to solve. At the middle of this activity is camp manager Beth, that fights to maintain order while she falls deeply in love with the neighborhood astrophysics professor. He’s busy trying to preserve the camp out of a mortal part of NASA’s Skylab that will be hurtling toward ground. All this, also: a treacherous waterfall rescue, love triangles, misfits, trendy children, and talking vegetable cans. The questions may be resolved, clearly, at the massive talent show by the ending of your afternoon.
