When Hollywood celebrity Helena Harris (Diane Neal) films her hottest picture, “This Magic Moment,” at the little town of Stone’s Twist, ” she strikes up an unlikely friendship with local movie shop owner Clark Gable (Travis Schuldt). Helena, that recently separated with “This Magic Moment” costar Roberto Molinez (Vincent Spano), asks her brand new friend Clark to feign for her love attention as a way to produce Roberto jealous. Clark agrees and as a swap, Helena helps him chase his own screenwriting career. While this agreement benefits both Clark and Helena, in addition, it interrupts the connection between Clark and his just single exgirlfriend, Emily McIntyre (Alaina Huffman).
