The Outpost
A little component of U.S. soldiers, independently in the distant Combat Outpost Keating, situated deep in the valley of 3 hills in Afghanistan, struggles to defend from an overpowering force of Taliban fighters into a coordinated assault. The Battle of Kamdesh, because it was understood, has been the bloodiest American involvement of the Afghan War at 2009 along with Bravo Troop 3-61 CAV became among its most decorated units of those 19-year battle.
