The Hunger Games
annually at the ruins of what was formerly the united states, the state of Panem forces all its neighboring areas to ship a teenaged boy and girl to compete at the Hunger Games. Part perverted entertainment, a part government intimidation strategy, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event where “Tributes” needs to struggle together until a survivor remains. Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who’ve prepared for them Games their lives, Katniss has been made to trust her eloquent instincts in addition to the mentorship of former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she’s to come back home to District 12, Katniss has to create impossible decisions from the arena which weigh survival against humankind and life contrary to love. The world is going to soon be watching.
