The Harder They Come
Ivanhoe Martin arrives at Kingston, Jamaica, searching for job and, following some initial battles, lands a recording contract as a singer. He documents his very first tune, “The Harder They Come,” however following a bitter dispute with a manipulative manufacturer called Hilton, soon finds himself resorting to petty crime so as to pay the invoices. He deals bud, kills some violent cops and makes neighborhood folk hero standing. His document has been topping the charts.
