It is death-by-fear (aka scared-to-death) within this psychological thriller. The enthusiast, Mike brings his buddies to his grandparents’ home for a Halloween celebration wherein they’ll all dress up to their innermost anxieties. Mike’s anxiety is that he has inherited a homicidal heritage from his dad. Mike’s dad was a serial killer that killed his mother in front of him if Mike was five prior to committing suicide. Mike’s fear manifests itself within his inability to devote his girlfriend for 4 1/2 decades, Peg for fear he will kill her also. Everything has rolling when a early Indian totem wooden figure called Morty comes to life and begins killing Mike’s buddies by creating their worst fears come true. The supreme confrontation comes after Mike must confront his ultimate fear – his very own father.
