The Color of Friendship
Mahree Bok resides on a plantation in South Africa. Her dad is a policeman who cannot conceal his pleasure once activist Steve Biko is captured by the South African government. Piper Dellums is your girl of that a US congressman in California and that resides in a wonderful house in Washington DC. When Mahree is picked to devote a semester in the Dellums’ home, she does not anticipate that her host family will be shameful. Nor do her hosts guess that she’s not a black South African.
