Set in a small isolated village in 14th century Wales, Alice is a sixteen yr earlier lady who’s accused of being a witch and inflicting the plague that has ravaged the village, taking the lives of many, along with Alice’s private father. When it is revealed that Alice has been hiding her mother’s an an infection, she is pressured to watch The Cleanser, an ominous masked decide, brutally dispatch her mother. The town preacher and de-facto chief Tom has eyes for Alice, and matters her to five torturous trials after she spurns his advances. Escaping the night sooner than her execution, with the help of her mother’s pal Mary, she flees into the forest and discovers the secluded hut of a mysterious healer, alongside together with his private troubled earlier and demons to face.
