The Circus
Charlie, a wandering tramp, becomes a pirate handyman and falls in love with the circus owner’s kid. Unaware of Charlie’s attachment, the woman falls in love with a handsome young actress. Charlie’s flexibility makes him star of this series after he substitutes for a sickly tightwire walker. He’s discharged by the business when he shields the woman away from her father’s abuse, however he returns and allure to the handsome celebrity to wed the woman. Following the marriage the dad depended upon them to rejoin the circus. Charlie is hired , but he remains behind once the caravan goes.
