In 2009, Alex Gibney was hired to create a picture about Lance Armstrong’s come back into cycling. The job was shelved while the doping scandal disappeared, and reopened after Armstrong’s confession. The Armstrong Lie selects up in 2013 and introduces a provocative, insider’s perspective of the unraveling of a few of the most outstanding stories from the annals of sport.
