Tales of Beatrix Potter
The Royal Ballet Company attracts Squirrel Nutkin, Tom Thumb, Hunca Munca, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Jeremy Fisher, Pigling Bland, along with Pigwig into the display doing pirouettes and pas de deux in this filmed ballet production led by Reginald Mills. The movie more correctly belongs, however, to choreographer Frederick Ashmore, composer John Lanchbery, along with costume designer Rostislav Douboujinsky. This literal version issues that the bashful Beatrix Potter and , if all of the toy critters inside her area come to life, she comes from her shell and starts to appreciate life. Sequences incorporate a rowdy dancing with Tom Thumb and Hunca Munca ruining a set of plaster meals, also a midnight pas de deux involving Pigling Bland along with Pigwig, and a corps de ballet of dance mice.
