France, 1940. From the very first days of job, amazing Lucile Angellier is trapped at a stifled presence with her dominating mother in law since they await the news of her husband: a captive of war. Parisian refugees begin to pour in their smalltown, so on accompanied with a regiment of troops that shoot up residence from the villagers’ houses. Lucile initially attempts to discount Bruno von Falk, the handsome and tasteful Italian officer sticking together with them. But a potent love brings them together and direct them in to the catastrophe of warfare.
