Space Battleship Yamato
In 2199, five years following our Gamilons began an invasion of Earth, the entire world was contested by the aliens’ bombs. The remnants of humankind have fled underground to flee the irradiated surface. 1 afternoon, former pilot Susumu Kodai finds a capsule delivered from Earth Iscandar that informs of a system that could get rid of rays from the planet’s surface. The Earth Defense Force re-builds the battle ship Yamato using a brand new sort of propulsion system to create the 148,000 light-year visit to Iscandar assured of rescuing the planet earth. Within a year, rays will induce the remainder of humankind to extinction.
