She Wore a Yellow Ribbon
Following Custer and the 7th Cavalry are phased from Indians, everybody expects the worst. Capt. Nathan Brittles is arranged on patrol but he is also needed to carry together Abby Allshard, spouse of the Fort’s commanding officer, along with her niece, the fairly Olivia Dandridge, that are being evacuated to their security. Brittles is just a couple of days off from retirement and Olivia gets captured the attention of a couple of the young officers in the business, Lt. Flint Cohill and 2nd Lt. Ross Pennell. She’s taken to wearing a yellow ribbon in her hair, a signal that she’s a beau at the Cavalry, but neglects to state for whom she’s wearing it.
