Semper Fi
The story sees Courtney as Cal, a by-the-book police officer who makes ends meet as a Marine Corps reservist alongside together with his rowdy and inseparable group of childhood buddies. When Cal’s youthful, reckless half-brother Oyster (Wolff) unintentionally kills a man in a bar combat and tries to flee, Cal forces him to face the music. After an unfair sentence, Oyster fights for survival in a harmful Pennsylvania jail system whereas Cal and his buddies are deployed to combat the deadly insurgency in Iraq. Abroad, Cal’s world is shaken, and after he barely makes it residence alive, he resolves to interrupt Oyster out of jail – regardless of the associated fee.
