Scott and Sid
From their first encounter as children in highschool, Scott and Sid seem unlikely buddies. Scott is a shambolic dreamer, intent on carving out his private path in life and holding up a metaphorical heart finger to anyone who tries to stop him. He is a quintessential troubled teen: on his fifth highschool by the age of fifteen, alienated from his associates, crippled by recurring nightmares and disliked by his private foster dad and mother. Sid, nevertheless, wants nothing larger than to be appreciated. An unconfident, awkward recluse by circumstance, Sid’s impoverished and dysfunctional background depart him no time for buddies and no money for hobbies.
