It is Hollywood, 1958. Smalltown beauty queen and devout Baptist virgin Marla Mabrey, under contract to the infamous Howard Hughes, arrives at la. At this airport, she matches her motorist Frank Forbes, who’s engaged to become wed to his seventh tier sweetheart and really is a profoundly religious Methodist.
