Race Across New Zealand has been the earliest of 3 telefilms designed for its Rocket Electricity animation collection, first transmitted to Nickelodeon from america on 16 Feb 2002, throughout the 2002 Winter Olympics. The plot line calls for the Rocket Power Ring’s day at New Zealand to engage in “The Junior Waikikamukau Games”, together with Otto Rocket competing against the son of an athlete that beat his daddy Ray at a race in New Zealand (allegedly by cheating), and his sister Reggie’s attempts to get herself noticed by Ray, who is constantly cheering for Otto exclusively. Sports featured this telefilm include zorbing, mountain biking, tubing, dirtboarding, windsurfing, along with ski.
