Robot & Frank
A pleasant dramatic comedy, a buddy image, and, for good measure, a heist movie. Curmudgeonly outdated Frank lives by himself. His routine entails day by day visits to his native library, the place he has a twinkle in his eye for the librarian. His grown youngsters are involved about their father’s well-being and purchase him a caretaker robotic. Initially immune to the thought, Frank quickly appreciates the advantages of robotic help – like nutritious meals and a clear home – and ultimately begins to deal with his robotic like a real companion. Together with his robotic’s help, Frank’s ardour for his outdated, illegal occupation is reignited, for higher or worse.
