A mysterious man, Dean, returns to his hometown of Grimsby after a few years overseas within the Military. His arrival is met with animosity, notably from his father, an avid pigeon racer. Dean is drawn again to confront his demons, and confess a secret to a childhood pal, Jess, solely to find she has been struggling because the premature loss of life of her husband.
