Pickup on South Street
In New York Metropolis, an insolent pickpocket, Skip McCoy, inadvertently units off a series of occasions when he targets ex-prostitute Sweet and steals her pockets. Unaware that she has been making deliveries of extremely labeled data to the communists, Sweet, who has been trailed by FBI brokers for months in hopes of nabbing the spy ringleader, is distributed by her ex-boyfriend, Joey, to seek out Skip and retrieve the precious microfilm he now holds.
