The narrative of the growth of a madame of a suburban brothel catering to both elderly men, motivated by the actual adventures of Cynthia Payne. The narrative follows Christine Painter (Julie Walters) since the down-at-heel waitress that, with the aid of both prostitute Shirley (Shirley Stelfox) and also cross-dressing Wing Commander Morten (Alec McCowen), attempts to her up profits from turning her suburban house into a brothel. She and her women are all chaining up candidates, spanking Generals and attending to the requirements of dearest.
