Following a critical game accident in a swimmingpool, Ben, currently an incomplete quadriplegic, arrives at a rehab centre. He matches other disabled men (tetraplegics, paraplegics, traumatized crania), all victims of injuries, in addition to a disabled as his early youth. They move through impotence, grief and resignation, using their everyday find it difficult to learn to maneuver a finger or even to keep a fork. Many of those slowly look for just a small freedom while some get this verdict of the disability for lifetime. Despite everything, friendship and hope help them suffer their own difficulties.
