On the Waterfront
Terry Malloy fantasies about being a prize fighter, while still glancing his pigeons and running errands at the docks for Johnny Friendly, the corrupt manager of the dockers marriage. Terry witnesses a murder from two of Johnny’s thugs, and afterwards matches the dead man’s sister and feels responsible for his departure. He introduces him Father Barry, that attempts to induce him to give advice for the courts who will crush the dock racketeers.
