On the Town
Three sailors – Gabey, Chip and Ozzie – allowed loose onto a 24-hour move in New York and the Big Apple will not be the same! Gabey falls head over heels for “Miss Turnstiles of all the Month” (he believes she is a top society deb when she is a ‘cooch dancer in Coney Island); naive Chip becomes highjacked (literally) by a female taxi driver; along with Ozzie becomes the thing of fascination with a stunning anthropologist who believes he is the ideal instance of a “prehistoric man”. Excellent songs and excellent shots of New York at its very best.
