Pim resides in a run down house at a low-lying street someplace about the Flanders coast, with his mum Yvette Bulteel. Life here scents of cold French fries, inexpensive smokes, vermouth and rancid beer. Mother Yvette uses her friend Etienne, together with his poor gray Fiat, like a catalyst for those nights that she needs to “perform”. As a young child Pim fantasies of a lifetime, imagining princesses and beauty queens. However, if Pim turns 16 he fantasies of Gino, the handsome boy across the street, alternatively. From the time these were kids there was this strain between them. Today Gino is now Pim’s motorcycling hero. Cold mockery, little humiliations and also small pieces of expect earn up Pim’s everyday life. Of course he some times flees to his fantasy world.
