Night and the City
Londoner Harry Fabian is an second-rate con guy searching for an angle. After years of putting up with Harry’s approaches, his girlfriend, Mary, becomes fed when he pops her for still another loan. His most recent ploy, boosting a aging Greek wrestler, goes awry once the wrestler expires and everybody points the finger in Harry. Figuring out at a riverfront barge, Harry finds his expansive aspirations spiral into a nightmare of panic and despair as the underworld shuts in.
