Jodorowsky’s Dune
Shot in France, England, Switzerland and the USA, this documentary covers manager Alejandro Jodorowsky (El Topo, Holy Mountain, Santa Sangre) along with his own 1974 Quixotic effort to accommodate the seminal scifi publication Dune to a feature film. After spending two decades and huge amount of money, the gigantic job finally fell apart, however the artists Jodorowsky constructed to the mythical job continued to come together. This type of musicians, or even his “warriors” since Jodorowsky appointed themon to specify modern scifi theatre with such films as Alien, Blade Runner, Star Wars and Total Recall.
