Hornblower: The Duel
The Hornblower show relies on C.S. Forester’s classic marine experiences – the tale of one young person’s struggle to develop into a leader of people. Set against the trunk of this 18twentieth century Anglo-French wars, the bloodiest period in British naval history. Spithead, Portsmouth, 1794. Under thundery sky and from lashing rain, a 17 year old midshipman requires the first tentative steps of the naval career, but a mortal feud using a despicable mate is inducing complications.
