Hornblower: The Duchess and the Devil
Horatio Homblower, currently promoted to Acting Lieutenant, catches the French ship Le Reve away the Spanish shore. The Captain of all the French boat is angry that this sort of kid has pulled off such a coup. But much more chilling is Hornblower’s original preference of the high-profile, when he’s invited to dine with the Governor of Gibraltar and his spouse. The possibility of that is terrifying , but a sudden visitor, the glamorous Duchess of all Wharfedale, adds yet another twist to his day.
