HANNAH is the romantic portrait of a woman’s lack of individuality because she teeters between reality and rejection. Left alone grappling with the effects of her husband’s imprisonment, Hannah starts to unravel. Throughout the pursuit of her sense of individuality and lack of self love, the movie investigates contemporary day alienation, the battle to link, as well as the dividing lines between human identity, personal associations, and social pressures.
