Two men divided by 100 years have been united in their quest for freedom. Back in 1856 a servant, Samuel Woodward along with his Loved Ones, escape by the Monroe Plantation near Richmond, Virginia. A secret system of average people called the Underground Railroad direct that the household in their travel north to Canada. They have been chased by the infamous servant hunter Plimpton. Hunted like your pet dog and haunted with the unthinkable distress his or her forbears have suffered, Samuel has been made to pick between freedom or revenge. 100 years earlier in the day in 1748, John Newton that the Captain of a servant dealer sails from Africa with a cargo of slaves, bound for America. Onboard is Samuel’s greatgrandfather whose success is tied into the fate of Captain Newton. The voyage affects Newton’s lifetime indefinitely and he also creates a legacy that may inspire Samuel as well as also the lifestyles of countless generations ahead.
