Diary of a Chambermaid
France, approximately 1900. Originating from the vibrancy of Paris, pert Célestine is secured since a chambermaid at Normandy. At the Lanlaire’s villa she experiences that the lecherous man of your house and also his asexual, unkind and covetous wife. Célestine is decided in order to avoid the fate suffered by the cook Marianne who’s recently secretly murdered a child born out of wedlock now despairingly realises she’s pregnant . The maid is fascinated by what the mystical man servant Joseph is upto: he spreads antisemitic leaflets and proposes she may do the job with him as a prostitute at Cherbourg…
