Dancer in the Dark
Selma, a Czech Detective the verge of blindness, struggles to make ends meet for herself and her child, who’s uttered the same hereditary disease and will endure the same fate without a costly operation. When life becomes too hard, Selma learns to deal throughout her love of musicals, punishing life’s issues – even if only for a minute – by faking up small amounts to the rhythmic beats of her environment.
