Cycling with Molière
Serge Tanneur (Fabrice Luchini) reaches the pinnacle of his acting career once he makes the decision to turn his back show business and be a hermit living from France’s Atlantic shore. Three decades after, Gauthier Valence (Lambert Wilson), a dear television celebrity, turns upon the island to supply Serge a part within his inaugural debut – a rendition of all Molière’s classic play, “The Misanthrope”. Serge fails initially, however shows they rehearse the very first scene after five days he’ll decide if he wishes to dothe play not. What ensues is a battle of brawn and wits and odd experiences with a hotel maid that longs for a porn star along with also an Italian divorcée.
