Circle Jerks: My Career as a Jerk
By first, LA punk ring the Circle Jerks were suspended in controversy. Inspired by ex members of Black Flag and Red Cross (currently Redd Kross) in late 1979, the group found overthrow the picture, energy and sound of California Hardcore Punk. Film maker David Markey (1991: The Year Punk Broke, The Slog Film ) combines in depth interviews, rare live footage and historical view to exemplify the narrative of a few of the strongest bands from the Eastern. My Career as a Jerk follows the group from their start and traditional introduction into navigating the individual label and vacationing scene of this 80therefore into the dependence, fights and battles which forced up their separation. Obviously the story does not quite end there.
