Chaplin of the Mountains

A newly discovered youthful Kurdish-French woman travels to Iraqi Kurdistan to locate her mommy’s village, likely destroyed throughout the Anfal genocide. On her journey she meets American film students that are traveling into remote villages viewing Charlie Chaplin films. They opt to help her hunt, an endeavor which attracts them to the war-weary Mount Qandil, dubbed by the natives the Kurdish Bermuda Triangle, together the Iraqi-Turkish-Iranian boundaries.
