Cameraperson

As a visually radical memoir, CAMERAPERSON attracts on the outstanding footage that filmmaker Kirsten Johnson has shot and reframes it in ways in which illuminate moments and conditions which have personally affected her. What emerges is a sublime meditation on the connection between fact and the digital camera body, as Johnson transforms scenes which were offered on Competition screens as one sort of fact into one other sort of story—one about private journey, craft, and direct human connection.
