BRUTAL focuses around Trevor (Morgan Benoit), abducted from his garden at age fifteen with an hidden alien presence. Forced in to almost 2 years of no-holds-barred conflicts against other abductees within an abysmal mixed martial arts stadium, Trevor has evolved by a innocent boy to some barbarous fighting system. Derek, (Jeff Hatch) an ambulance chasing lawyer, may be the most recent lab rat abductee made to fight Trevor. Since the 2 men swap ever-increasing beating during the period of months and weeks, the brutality in their presence and also the genuine nature of these humanity is slowly disclosed. Using components of THE TWILIGHT ZONE and THE PRISONER, BRUTAL explores science fiction, allegory and psychological play, man’s violent character and our propensity to commit unthinkable acts of violence against eachother.
