Breakthrough tells the story of a renegade scientist’s pursuit to find a remedy for the majority of cancers, the disease that killed his mother. Texan Jim Allison is currently a 2018 Nobel Prize winner for finding advice about how best to immediate a cancer affected individual’s immune system into beating their disease, yet for several years that he uttered an often-lonely struggle in resistance to the debilitating disbelief of the medical establishment.
