Beauty and the Beast

Magnificence and the Beast is the version of a story by Madame de Villeneuve. Printed anonymously in 1740 like La Jeune Américaine et les contes marins, it paints a portrait of Belle, a joyous and touching younger woman that falls deeply in love with the Beast, also a populous monster in pursuit of love and redemption. Back in 1760, a kids’s version was first printed. It had been using this version that Jean Cocteau and then Walt Disney attracted their famous variations. Over-shadowed, the unique version by Madame de Villeneuve has in no way been optimized for the screen… till today!
