Backyard Ashes
Dougie Waters loves simply the usual weekend barbie and cricket game with his teammates. However, his heaven on the planet is destroyed when his very best partner and neighbor Norm has been made to leave their new supervisor, a pompous British secretary named Edward Lords, moves . The animosity between the two men peaks throughout a fateful garden cricket game once Dougie strikes a ball which unintentionally stuns Edward’s award-winning kitty, Dexter. The cat falls to the roaring BBQ and can be immediately incinerated, leaving only ash. Dougie’s son catches footage of this regrettable event on camera plus it’s uploaded onto YouTube at which the video immediately extends viral! The notion of an outdoor cricketing battle is with the winner keeping the ash of Edward’s dead cat kitty, Dexter. Both teams battle it out at the best game of backyard cricket in history for its Backyard Ashes.
