Armageddon
If an asteroid threatens to collide with Earth, NASA honcho Dan Truman decides the only means to prevent it is to drill into its surface and detonate a bomb. It leads him to famous driller Harry Stamper, that wants to helm the hazardous area assignment given he can bring together his own hotshot team. One of them is that the cocksure A.J. that Harry believes is not good enough for his daughter, till the assignment demonstrates differently.
