All Quiet on the Western Front
At the begin of World Battle I, Paul Baumer is a younger German patriot, wanting to combat. Indoctrinated with propaganda at college, he and his mates eagerly join the military quickly after commencement. However when the horrors of battle quickly grow to be an excessive amount of to bear, and as his mates die or grow to be gravely wounded, Paul questions the sanity of preventing over a number of lots of yards of war-torn countryside.
