Back in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhua, RAW Agent Vinod (Saif Ali Khan) is rescued by writer Rajan (Ravi Kishan) by way of a ninja Pakistani military officer (Shahbaz Khan). Back in Russia/Uzbekistan, an ex-KGB Officer is murdered and tortured. At Cape Town, a set of global industry tycoons discusses a rumor that the deceased KGB officer owned a nuclear suitcase bomb. Back in Moscow, Rajan is vulnerable and taken dead when attempting into send a Code Red message to India. Back in India, the mind of RAW sees the faulty message comprising only number 242. Agent Vinod Requires a globetrotting secret assignment to detect the main reason his colleague, Rajan, has been murdered. A succession of spins and turns require Vinod around the world into Morocco and Latvia, Karachi into Delhi last but not least London where he finds the true conspiracy.
