A Star Is Born
Drunken, has-been stone star John Norman Howard falls in love with unidentified writer, Esther Hoffman, after watching her perform in a bar. He allows her sing a couple tunes at one of the shows and that she becomes the discussion about the audio market. Esther’s star begins to increase, while John’s continues to collapse. She tries desperately for John to sober her up and concentrate on his songs, but it can be too late to rescue him.
