A film investigating the arrival, death and revival of exemplified movie poster art. Through interviews with several key art styles from the 70therefore and 80s, in addition to most modern, other poster performers, “twenty four by thirtysix” intends to answer the question: Exactly what happened on the exemplified picture poster? Where did it evaporate, and why? At the middle 2000therefore, filling the emptiness left by Hollywood’s abandonment of exemplified picture posters, independent musicians and galleries began selling small variation, screen printed posters — a movement that’s rapidly burst to a thriving industry with prints selling online in moments, inspirational Hollywood studios to shoot note of instance from movie posters yet again.
